EXERCISE CLASSES
A full range of aerobics classes is provided, free of charge to full members. The classes provided will cater for different tastes. These are available throughout the day and the timetable is reviewed every 6 weeks.

EXERCISE CLASS DESCRIPTION
Abdoms & Stretch A workout concentrating on flattening & toning the abdominal areas. Included is a developmental stretch section to improve flexibility.
Body Conditioning A low impact workout concentrating on toning the whole body using interchangeable weights.
Body Sculpt A low impact workout developed to work on the major muscle groups. The exercises within will help to balance & sculpt the body.
Boxing Blast/Boxercise A class combining the fundamental skills of boxing with a specific form of circuit training, helping to develop speed, strength and flexibility as well as training the heart and lungs.
Cardio Circuit A combination of cardio vascular and resistance training using free weights set out in a various station format. This workout is designed to increase strength and speed as well as building stamina.
Dance Aerobics A high intensity cardio vascular workout based on
Aerobafunk choreographed aerobics.
Interval Training a class incorporating the gymnasium circuit room. The resistance equipment around the perimeter of the room will work all of the major muscles & the bank of steps in the centre of the room will improve cardio fitness.
Legs, Bums & Tums A toning class for the problem areas, which targets the abdominals and the lower half of the body.
Peak Energy A high intensity class maximising fat burning & cardio vascular fitness.
Physical Training A full body muscular strength 7 endurance class using interchangeable weights.
Pilates A core strength, flexibility & coordination class, focusing on body & mind. Pilates will improve posture, achieving balance between strength & flexibility.
Step Aerobics A mixed impact workout using basic step patterns which will improve fitness & lower body tone with some easy to follow choreography.
Spinning A studio cycling class to improve stamina, strength & fitness whilst burning fat. You control the resistance & the intensity of your workout.
Super Circuit A class designed to improve cardio vascular fitness & improve muscular strength & endurance. A workout for those who want to push themselves to the limit.
Total Tone A pre choreographed endurance workout using interchangeable barbell sets to motivating music. Each music track will target a different muscle group using free weights.
Yoga An individual form of exercise concentrating on posture. This class encourages flexibility, breathing development & relaxation for total body awareness.
