Classes

EXERCISE CLASSES

The Studio Timetable is offered to all Members as part of their Membership or to Non-Members for a small fee.  The Timetable is designed to offer a mix of Classes to suit everyone’s tastes and needs.  The Classes are instructed by selected Fitness Professionals, to help participants achieve Health & Fitness goals but also have fun.

The AP Club aims to provide only the best Classes offering the finest service to our Members.  We can gain knowledge about the success of a Class based on the number of participants attending.  I’ve now decided to introduce a ‘Traffic Light’ System which indicates how a Class is performing.

‘Green’ (11-15) indicates a high number of participants. ‘Amber’ (6-10) indicates a moderate number of participants ‘Red’ (1-5) indicates a low number of participants.

The Timetable will be changed every 3 months.  Classes that are performing well, highlighted ‘Green’ will remain on the Timetable. Classes highlighted ‘Amber’ will be reviewed.  Classes highlighted ‘Red’ will be removed and changed for a different Class.

The ‘Traffic Light’ system gives the Members and instructors an opportunity to understand the performance of their Class and make improvements if necessary.

The Timetable will be displayed at the end of each Month highlighted in the ‘Traffic Light’ System.

EXERCISE CLASS DESCRIPTION

Circuit Training is a form of Body Conditioning, Resistance Training and Aerobics.  The Class design is easy to follow. During the Class all Exercises are completed and repeated in a structured fashion.

Yoga is a form of Exercises that uses slow movements and stretching.  It is good for increasing Flexibility and Balance.  It is also good for relieving Stress and Relaxing.

Zumba is an energetic Dance Class combining Latin and International Music.  It’s fun and effective, using Interval Training combining fast and slow Rhythms for an effective aerobic workout.

Trial Class is an opportunity to take part in a different Class at a different time each week.  Please ask at Reception for further details.

Pilates is a Body-Conditioning technique designed to stretch, strengthen and balance the body. Pilates targets the deep postural muscles within the body through a series of exercises.

Aerotone is a combination of choreographed movements and toning exercises set to motivational music in a fun environment. These classes provide an effective way to burn calories and increase fitness levels.
